She is one of the few neteru to be represented completely human, and usually with wings. She was the goddess of life, healing, magic, wisdom, women, children, fertility, and an expression of the Divine Feminine. Isis was the epitome of every positive feminine quality, an ideal mother and wife. She used her magical power to resurrect her husband Osiris from the dead after he was killed by his brother Set and then conceive their son Horus. The imagery of Isis nursing Horus is believed to have influenced the later iconography of Mary with Christ.
